Paragraph 1

The World is running out of fresh water and it is a necessary resource for humans to live, so, we stand today on the edge of a major water crisis. We need water for drinking, cooking, washing, for food, energy, industry and finally and most importantly for living. In general there is a lot of water on earth seen from the space, and our planet is covered with it, but the problem is, this water is not for drinking, because it’s salty water from the ocean. Only 3% of the earth water is fresh water and 1% is enough for the whole world, but only if it’s used rationally. Many developing countries don’t have access to fresh water. Poor countries in Asia, Africa can’t afford using new technologies for containing and purifying water to prevent the water crisis. The water in those countries is scarce, polluted and dirty. Yet, people are still drinking this kind of water to survive, and that caused many serious diseases such as cholera and led to the death of lots of people. Population growth is another problem and there is not enough water to meet the needs of everybody. Future generations may face catastrophic consequences if we do not solve this problem. There will not be enough for everybody to drink and some countries will suffer as people in the world will panic and some will use violence, which will cause wars in the future.
